Mogadishu (HOL) — A violent clan conflict broke out on Monday in the Mudug region, resulting in four deaths and leaving 11 others injured, according to local reports.

The clash occurred in villages near the Do’oleey area, involving two rival clan militias from Adado and Galkayo. The conflict reportedly stemmed from a dispute over grazing land, escalating into a deadly confrontation.

No official response has been issued by the Galmudug regional administration concerning the incident.

Clan conflicts are frequent in the Mudug and Galgaduud regions, often driven by disputes over land ownership. These clashes continue to cause significant casualties and instability in the area.
