Somalia officially joined Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) as part of efforts to enhance the government’s plan for green economic development, environmental protection, and adaptation to the impacts of climate change.
Khadija Al Makhzoumi, Somalia’s Minister of Environment, noted that the country’s membership in the (GGGI) is an effective step towards achieving the government’s goals for a sustainable future, the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) reported.
