Garowe (HOL) – Puntland’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Abdi Farah Saeed Juha, reported that the bank accounts of organizations running projects in the region are empty.

Minister Juha voiced significant concerns over the potential loss of international support that Puntland has previously relied on. He blamed the federal government for the downturn in project execution in the region.

“In the midst of a political struggle, vital resources such as money, medicine, and food were invested—essentials that we are unjustly deprived of. The halt in project activities is partly due to our ongoing conflict with the federal government,” Minister Juha stated.

He also mentioned that Puntland is currently advising and reconstructing its economic framework to ensure self-reliance and better aid management from various organizations.
