Garowe (HOL) – The police command of Puntland’s Nugaal region announced on Monday that they had apprehended the man responsible for fatally stabbing a young girl in Garowe several days ago.
Happy Mohamed Omar was brutally killed with a knife, and her body was discovered in a street in the capital city of Puntland. Security forces detained 13 suspects, primarily women who resided with the deceased.
During a press conference, Deputy Commander
of the Nugaal police command, Mohamud Fardaful, confirmed that a man named Beder Hassan
Abdiwahid was identified as the perpetrator of the girl’s murder.
The deputy commander added that the accused confessed to the crime upon presenting various pieces of evidence.
