Kenya unveils names, photos of 35 suspected Al-Shabaab members

NAIROBI (HOL) — Authorities in Kenya have disclosed the names and photographs of 35 individuals suspected of involvement with the Al-Shabaab terrorist group.

The Kenyan Bureau of Investigation has urged the public to assist by providing any information that could lead to the apprehension of these suspects.

According to a statement from the Bureau, “Thirty-five suspects, deemed armed and dangerous, have been linked to the terrorist network of Al-Shabaab. They are believed to be behind the planning and execution of terrorist acts and violence in the Lamu region and the wider Boni area.”

The list is made up largely of Kenyan residents.

The Kenyan government is offering “A substantial cash reward” for any credible information that results in the arrest of any listed suspect.
