Mogadishu (HOL) – Somali army forces, supported by international partners, have killed 30 al-Shabab militants in a new airstrike in the Jilib-Merca area of the Lower Shabelle region on Saturday morning.
Military officials stated that the army targeted a location where the militants were assembling after receiving intelligence tips about their presence in the area.
Just days ago, Somali army forces, supported by international partners, killed several al-Shabab militants in the Bula Warbo area under the Kuntuwaarey district of the Lower Shabelle region, where the militants had gathered.
