Somalia hosts hundreds of Sudanese nationals who fled their homeland following clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces a year ago. With the assistance of their embassy in Mogadishu, the Sudanese community comes together, especially during Ramadan, to celebrate its culture away from the conflict in their homeland.
