Ayaan Hersi Magan
“People who live in glass houses should not throw stones”

We have been asking the same question all along: Has she gone mad?!
Well, sometimes God works in mysterious ways and then the world just starts making sense as the tides turn around for the wicked.
The title of this article refers to the shocking response of Ayaan Hirsi Magan, the recently booted-out Somali born Dutch parliamentarian, after that country’s government discovered that she knowingly lied of her asylum application and deceived them when she first entered in that country back in 1992.

I’m sure that all Somalis and most Muslims around the world who have learned about the latest misfortunes of Ms. Ayaan Hersi have rejoiced and felt vindicated in their own disdainful way and justifiably so, because she has earned the repugnance and hatred of both her community and all Muslims around the world.   Ayaan became a popular figure in the Netherlands and much throughout the rest of the Western world after she renounced her Islamic religion and started expressing her deep animosity towards the religion and its believers.   She initially condemned the treatment of Muslim women in the name of Islam, but she further infuriated many Muslims around the world when she defiantly described the prophet as a “perverse tyrant” and a “pedophile”.  It was increasingly evident that Ayaan was ready to trade both her soul and religion for a few bucks and recognition from those who were championing to disgrace and debase the Islamic religion, especially after the September 11 tragedy in the U.S.

In addition, Ayaan became a mouthpiece and puppet for all of those xenophobic anti-immigrant organizations in the West who remained in the sidelines for too long to find a cause for their hatred.  As Ayaan frequently dared all immigrants in the West, especially those of the Islamic faith to either fully integrate with their new Western societies or go back to where they originally came from.   It was very unfortunate and disdainful to see one of our own people who has transgressed in her own way, but at the same time ready to champion for the evil cause of the enemy.  She found shelter in the Western media who colluded in her mischaracterization of all Muslims by demonizing the Islamic religion and its believers by reprehensibly often calling them “backwards”

We all knew that it was only a matter of time before the tables were turned against Ayaan and her days in the politics were numbered after she dared to make that infamous short film about Islam and its “mistreatment” of women.  You may wonder what’s behind her recent disgraceful downfall and triggered this abrupt reversal of her political and campaign of mischief.  It was evident to all political analysts in both the left and the right in the West after the scandalous Danish cartoon event that these “Muslims” were not to be messed with because they had nothing to lose and their religion was everything to them.  It was also apparent to the secular and tolerant Dutch society that constructive criticism and productive dialogue could be the only mode of peaceful coexistence among all people of different religions, and the likes of Ayaan Hersi had to be distanced and reprimanded from their political mainstream.

It is not very surprising that she’s moving to the United States, to work at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), which is right-wing think tank in Washington D.C.  AEI harbor under their shadowy wings of Who’s Who racist superlatives in the U.S. as described them by the well-known consumer rights activist, Ralph Nader as “a collage of Goliaths running an all-points wrecking machine over government and business.”  It will be telling though if Ayaan learns any lessons from her humiliating departure from The Netherlands where she called home for the past decade and half.  However, if she continuous on her bizarre discourse and bad-mouthing of her community and religion, she will not find to be unchallenged and un rebuked in every instance she dares to be provocateur of the right wing because in the United States, in particular the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, there is no shortage of intellectuals and people of great influence in all social, economic, and political arena.  I am sure she will not get away with any offensive and derogatory demeanor about the sacred Islamic religion.

Lesson to be learned

Finally, let this be a good lesson to be learned for all of those “agents of evil” who work day and night to vilify and spy of their poor brothers and sisters in the West for money or name.  As we all know, every one of us has past secrets and things that our new host countries do not know about us because they accepted us like those who came before us in good faith.   In fact, there is a wicked saying in the West that is a warning for everyone who thinks to commit malice of his brethren’s behalf in order to achieve selfish glory or status:  People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
