Overview:
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Somalia invites
qualified organizations to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for
the implementation of activities in Baidoa and Kismayo as part of the
“Empowering Livelihoods and Economic Vitality in
Fragile and Conflict Zones (ELEVATE) Africa” project. This initiative
aims to strengthen community resilience against violent extremism by
promoting economic and social inclusion for vulnerable populations.

the implementation of activities in Baidoa and Kismayo as part of the

Key Activities:
Establishment and operation of safe spaces for vulnerable individuals.
Beneficiary selection and provision of gender- and conflict-sensitive individualized livelihood assistance.
Case management and targeted protection assistance for selected beneficiaries.
Community-driven infrastructure rehabilitation.
Social cohesion activities (e.g., poetry, traditional dance, sports) and community dialogue sessions.
Monitoring and reporting of progress.
Who Can Apply:
Organizations with experience in implementing similar projects, access
to beneficiaries in Baidoa or Kismayo, and compliance with humanitarian
principles and relevant policies (e.g., Accountability to Affected
Populations, counterterrorism policies).

- Submit applications via email to ceisomgrants@iom.int by
24 October 2024, 11:59 PM (EAT).
Required documents include proof of legal registration, a detailed
concept note, CVs of key personnel, and other supporting documentation
as specified in the CEI document.
Applications must be submitted in PDF or ZIP format, with a total file size of no more than 20 MB.
