Cape Town (HOL) – South African police apprehended armed gangs responsible for the killing of a Somali Uber driver in Bellville, a bustling urban center in South Africa, on Wednesday night.
According to residents, the gangs fatally assaulted Mohamed Deeq Abdirashid Awowe while robbing the car he was driving.
Somalis residing in the Bellville area, who made significant efforts, contributed to the country’s police forces’ ability to arrest the perpetrators behind the killing of the Somali citizen.
A brief statement from the country’s police confirmed that the perpetrators are now in police custody and will be brought before the court.
