Dhusamareeb (HOL) – At least four young men were killed in a revenge-related attack in a village located 20 km from Dhusamareeb, the administrative capital of the Galmudug regional state in Somalia, on Monday.
Security forces from Dhusamareeb city swiftly arrived at the scene in the Faragoy area and are currently conducting operations to apprehend the clan militia responsible for the murders.
Despite the ongoing operations, the local authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the killings.
Over the last few months, revenge-related incidents have occurred in the regions of Galgaduud and Mudug, as reported by people from central Somalia.
In December of last year, a Quran teacher, Liban Hassan Osman, and his brother, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Osman, a doctor, were killed in a revenge attack in Ilix village, situated under Dhusamareeb.
